Microsoft forcing everyone for updates even users being aware of it. Some updates smoothly install and some will stuck while downloading, there may be lot of reasons behind this, of course every updates has their pro and cons, so before you do any hard work to fix this download stuck issues, just try these easy methods, hope this will fix your problem.
1. First check your Ethernet or Wi-fi connection
2. Now go start type and open “services” find and open “Windows Updates” it will be in button, set “automatic” and “start”, if this not work try next one
3. Go to start open command prompt as admin, type the following code
net stop wuauserv (hit enter)
net stop bits (hit enter)
After complete close the cmd
Now copy & paste this “C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution” in this pc file explorer bar and delete whatever you find
4. Once again open the command prompt type following codes
net start wuauserv (hit enter)
net start bits (hit enter)
5. Close cmd and restart your pc, now check for download
