How to Format SD Card as Internal Storage in Android Phone

I wrote a article about how to use SD card as a phone internal storage, but many people comments they are not getting the option of “Format as Internal Storage”, before I shows how to do this let me clear one thing; I have tested this on Moto G (2^nd Gen.) & Moto G (3^rd Gen.) and phone must run Android Marshmallow version.

I am not sure all android devices has this option, but if you got this option in your phone than you are lucky to use external sd card as internal storage, so let see how to format sd card as internal storage, right now I am using moto g (2^nd Gen.) with Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, it also work on 6.0.1 version or higher.

1.       Go to phone “setting” than “Storage & USB” tap on “SD Card” now tap on three dots and select “Settings”

2.       Here you will get option “Format as internal” just tap on that and tap on “Erase & Format” (note: this will delete all data from sd card)

3.       After format successfully you can move your all internal data to this storage and can use as phone internal storage
