I did lot of research on this topic, when I open PowerPoint by default its open with title and subtitle text box in slide layout, but I want to set it as a blank slide, I tried many things none of work perfectly, lastly I found a best idea to open PowerPoint as blank slide each time when open. This method will work all the version of PowerPoint like 2003, 2007, 2010, 2016, so lets see how to do this..
1. Open PowerPoint right click on slide click on “Layout” and select “Blank”
2. Now press “Ctrl+S” give the file name, in save as type select “PowerPoint Template” select desktop as output location and “save” the file.
3. Now close this PowerPoint file, you will find a ppt file on desktop open that file, this is a ppt template, this file will open as blank slide layout each when you open.

NO YOU IDIOT !!! This is a Method TO save a TEMPLATE !! Saving a *.potx or as a *.pot is Not to save a Shortcut to PowerPoint that starts on a Blank Slide ALWAYS !!!
>> THIS METHOD IS TO SAVE A TEMPLATE ! Thats it... You Cant be treating this Template as a Shortcut ! Wanna know why ? COS YOU CANT SAVE THIS SHORTCUT in your TASK BAR THATS WHY !!!!
STOP POSTING RUBBISH LIKE THIS !!! The only way to start PowerPoint with a Blank Slide Always, REVOLVES in editing the Windows Registry ! ITS not an easy process. Its VERY VERY COMPLICATED to really get it done.
THAT'S why you x get to see the RESULTS THE WHOLE FREAKING WORLD WANTS !!! Too many people arent NOT equipped with the Technical skills to start messing about with the Registry. THATS WHY !
