Microsoft word shortcut : How to change font size and font style

If you want to do fast work in Microsoft word than forget the mouse, you can do all the things by using keyboard shortcut keys, as we know keyboard shortcut keys take less time than the using mouse. So here I am going to show you one easy shortcut key for changing font size and font style in Microsoft word.  This shortcut key will work in all the Microsoft word document , 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013.

Microsoft excel shortcut: How to do merge, wrap text, alignment & border

In this article I will show you how to merge cell, wrap text, alignment and how to insert border in Microsoft excel.

How to Merge :  Select the column which you want to merge and press "Alt+H,M" and press enter 

How to wrap text : Right click on cell and click "Format Cell" "Alignment" mark the "Wrap text"

How to do alignment : Right click on cell and click "Format Cell" "Alignment" "Orientation"

Border : Select the cell and press "Alt+H,B"

Microsoft excel shortcut: How to insert date, Serial Number, Round

Microsoft excel is always difficult for beginner because of commands, formuals and calculation but here I will show the easy and simple way of inserting date, serial number and how to make round off. 

How to insert Date 
1. The date in cell (Month/day/year, 11/18/2013)
2. Hold and drag the cell by using mouse 


 How to insert serial number
1. Type your starting serial number (ex. 0, or 1)
2. Hold "Ctrl" key and drag the cell by your mouse 
  

How to round 
1. Round mean sometime we don't need to show decimal (ex. 5878.58, the .58 is decimal)
2. Keep cursor on cell press "F12" the formula will show if you given (ex. =A3*B3) for doing round off you have to edit formula (=round(A3*B3,0) and press "Enter"

How to capture screen shot and how to crop

1.  Open web, window or what you want to capture.
2.  After open just press "Print screen" button in keyboard.

3.  Go to your document or where you want to paste and press "Ctrl+V" your screenshot will be past.
4.  If you paste in word document select the screenshot and click "Format" then click on "Crop" the corner border will be shown in your picture hold the border and drag as per your requirement.

Do you want to hide your personal files and folders you can do easily in Microsoft XP, windows 7 and window 8, just follow the simple steps

How to Hide 
1.  Right click on folder or file, click "Properties" in General click mark "Hidden" click "Apply" "Ok"

How to see hidden files and folders
1.  Click on "Computer" on your desktop or open the drive where from the file was hidden 
2.  Click on "Organize" "Folder and Search options"

3.  Folder options window will be open click on "View" in view click mark the "show hidden files, folders and drives"click "Apply" "Ok"

How to remove hidden option on folder and files
1.  Right click on folder or file, click "Properties" in General click Unmark "Hidden" click "Apply" "Ok"

Microsoft excel shortcut: sum, multiply, percentage & divided

In this article you learn how to do sum, multiply/product, percentage and divided in Microsoft excel this shortcut will work in all version of Microsoft excel. This is the easiest and fast way to do calculation of your values in excel.

1.  Sum : Keep the cursor at end of value and press  "Alt=" and then press "Enter"
2. Multiply/Product : Press "=" and move cursor on your values by using arrow keys, and press "Shift+8(*)" and again move your cursor to next value and do same "Shift+8(*)" when you reach last column only press "enter" (please see the below video)
3.  Perchance: Press "=" move the cursor on value and press "*value%" press "enter" (ex. if u want to 2% press "*2%" ) and then "enter" 
4.  Divided : Press "=" move the cursor on value and press "/value" and press "enter" (ex. for 20 divided type "/20" and press "enter"

How to calculate mean and standard deviation in Excel

In this article you will learn how to calculate mean and standard deviation (STDEV) values in Microsoft excel, I have followed very easy and simple method for your easy understand.

How to calculate mean 

1.  Type your value and keep the courser where you want to calculate mean 
2.  Click on "Formulas" and then click on "Insert Function"
3.  A dialog box will appear Click on "Or Select a Category" and select the "Statistical" after this select function click on "AVERAGE"
 4.  Click "OK" one more dialog box will appear, "number1" insert the column number from where to upto you want calculate mean and then click "OK" 
the mean value appear your selected cell

How to calculate standard derivation (STDEV)

1.  Type your value and keep the courser where you want to calculate standard deviation
2.  Click on "Formulas" and then click on "Insert Function"
3.  A dialog box will appear Click on "Or Select a Category" and select the "Statistical" after this select function click on "STDEV".
 4.  Click "OK" one more dialog box will appear, "number1" insert the column number from where to upto you want calculate standard deviation and then click "OK"

Now you got your mean and standard deviation value
